Thanks. I used this method though: http://codex.wordpress.org/adding_asides
Not the one about the sidebar, the one on the index.php . I’m wondering, how do I get it to show the latest 5 asides on the front page tho?
Something like the following.

or can someone tell me a plugiin that will restrict it from the frontpage and not the sidebar? Some actually block it from the sidebar when i try blocking it from the frontpage so…
I wrote a walkthrough on exactly how to have asides on the sidebar instead of on the main page. You can have them on any and every sidebar on your page, and they will never show on the front page, they will show in the archives but you can remove them from there if you want too and only have them available via the specific category archives.
I tried doing it in the sidebar with what the codex said and nothing happened at all… Not even an error.
