When I first set up my blog, I followed someone's instructions and used a Text file format. Later on, I read the WP documentation which said to use ASCII. Is there a big difference? Am I in trouble?

Thanks Yosemite for the quick reply! So, they are one and the same?
BTW, you may not believe this but I've actually woken up once in a sweat worrying about whether or not I've made a mistake.
