    Hello,
I’m testing a migration to wordpress from Joomla 1.5.11. The sites are setup on different servers, so I exported the jos__content table as a SQL file and imported it into the wordpress DB. When I set up the import, it sees that I have 180 articles in the table. After I run the import, no articles were imported.

    testing connection
[fgj2wp] Connected with success to the Joomla database

    [fgj2wp] Joomla data found:
    0 sections
    0 categories
    180 articles
    0 users
    0 web links

    Import Results
    [fgj2wp] 0 categories imported

    [fgj2wp] 0 pages imported

    [fgj2wp] 0 medias imported

    [fgj2wp] 0 links categories imported

    [fgj2wp] 0 web links imported

[fgj2wp] Don’t forget to modify internal links.

    Any ideas?

    thanks,
    Patrick

Yes, you also need to export the categories, sections and weblinks tables.
For the Premium version, you also need the users and menu tables.

    Kerfred,
That fixed it. Thanks for the help.
I’ll upgrade to premium for the users table as well once we’re ready for it.
