    Hi,

I'm having a problem with a wordpress site that we have for work.

    http://www.nauticplanet.com

We have two sections which have articles, one is "sales - vendite" and the other is "news". Previously both pages displayed separate articles. Today I noticed that the page "sales - vendite" no longer shows any articles and that the "news" page shows all of the articles.

Recently I have been following Yoast's guide on SEO and I have changed lots of small settings and I'm guessing that somewhere along the way something has changed; but, for the life of me I can't figure out what it is. I thought mayber something to do with permalinks, although I've tried changing them and also had a look at the categories; but, I'm hitting a brick wall.

    Any ideas?

You should edit your menu. Instead of pointing to http://www.nauticplanet.com/sales-vendite/ you will have to point to http://www.nauticplanet.com/category/sales-vendite/

Have you changed your category structure at all? It looks like now 'sales - vendite' is a subcategory of News, which might be affecting where it shows up.

Check out the category breadcrumbs display on this post: http://www.nauticplanet.com/marinello-fisherman-16-17/
    Home » News » sales - vendite » Marinello – Fisherman 16 & 17

Your 'sales - vendite' page or template must be set up to draw a certain category, so you might have to change your category structure back to the way it was, or look at the code and see if it's set to only grab the parent.

Media X's suggestion would also work, if your category structure hasn't been disrupted. Here's some more info on changing your menus, if that works for you: Appearance Menus

Thanks for your answers so far.

Media X, there's definitely something in what you said. My permalinks are set to custom /%category%/%postname%/ but the page permalink is set to nauticplanet.com/services. I tried to change this in the modify page section; but, when I specify category/sales-vendite, WP automatically removes the slash.

If I type http://www.nauticplanet.com/category/sales-vendite in the address bar, it works perfectly; but, I can't get the menu button to direct to that address. The same goes for the category/news.

Lettergrade, I had noticed that the breadcrumbs were showing the sales section after news.

I'm almost there, just got to get that permalink fixed.

The only way that I have been able to resolve this issue was to modify the menu and make a button with a peronalised link to the page that displays correctly. I'm not sure that this is the cleanest way of fixing the problem as the page title now shows as archives.
