Articles at the main page

    The fact is that I dont want all the article to be posted at the main page, only a short summary of it, may be 2-4 line. In Options>Reading>For each article, show:
    – Full text
    – Summary

    I choose “Summary” but nothing change, just look at it http://artblog.paintingofrussia.com/

    How to limit not the number of articles at the main page, but its size?

    If you go bacj to that setting page and read it again carefully you’ll realize those 2 settings are for RSS feeds.
    To control what is displayed on the main page you have 2 options:
    – manually insert the “more” tag where you want to break the text
    – in the index.php fiole of your theme replace the_content tag with the_excerpt
    (Note. Depending on your theme this might affect other views, too)

    I’ve done as you told me
    -“in the index.php of your theme replace the_content tag with the_excerpt” So did I, but nothing has changes, still all the article at the mail page.
    Please go in details

    So, what shall I do to solve the problem???
