Slideshow
[resolved] Artefact at bottom of screen (3 posts)

    Hello,
I really like the Slideshow plugin but am seeing the images displaying a thin band at the bottom of the screen. The site is http://barrynatusch.com

My images are of the same dimensions (1653x577).

Is there a way to resolve this issue? I have tried activating the standard WordPress Twenty Twelve theme (rather than a Child theme based on Twenty Twelve, which I am currently using), but the slideshow still shows the same distracting band at the bottom of each photo.
    Thanks -
    ZN

    Hi ZN,

I see you've adapted the custom stylesheet to move the slideshow up ten pixels: '.slideshow_container { margin-top: -10px; }'. This causes all slides to move up these 10 pixels, which makes the hidden slides show.

Instead of moving the slideshow up ten pixels, you could also move the content area up 10 pixels.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Hi, Stefan

Many thanks for the explanation - I've done as you suggested and now the slideshow works perfectly.

    Best regards

    ZN
