  • I’m having the same issue with my site http://www.puppetvision.info

This plugin worked perfectly until the most recent set of updates. Now with each update a new problem appears. First my images stopped appearing, followed by “Array” appearing instead of content and now no Twitter card appears at all.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, I’m on it. I’ve been busy these weeks and made some poor updates as it seems. I will correct that ASAP. But first of all, did you empty your cache?

what is your config (settings on option page)? it would help me fix this.

Ok I figured it out. This bug still appears when no option is set for title and desc (no SEO plugin option activated or custom fields).

This is to be fixed as quickly as possible.

Thanks. We will be waiting for an update once you found a solution.

I did empty my cache. I’ve checked this on multiple computers (Mac and PC) using different browsers on two separate internet connections. For some reason on Firefox no Twitter card appears at all, but on Chrome I see a Twitter card with “array” instead of summary content.

I’m using the Summary Large Image card type

I do not use SEO by Yoast

Just let me know if you need more info. I can also provide a screenshot of the options page if that is helpful.

I was an early user of the plugin, so I think you have added additional options since I originally installed it that I am not utilizing.

Thank you so much for your help, this really is an otherwise fantastic plugin. I’ve recommended it to many people!

You know the very problem it becomes popular and a lot of people were asking me to add options for this option for that. I kinda urge previous updates.

Still it should be fixed ASAP. I’m on it. I can now reproduce the bug. I had not considered no option config in my last updates.

    I’m to fix it.

    @buckbeaver ,

Would you be ok to be a beta tester for update?

code here is to fix the issue. Can you copy and paste it in JM Twitter Cards plugin file and see if it’s fixed.

It works again on all my install and config but I want to be sure.

    Sure absolutely.

    Did it succeed?

No, I added the plugin code and tried a new tweet. No Twitter Card appears – https://twitter.com/puppetvision/status/360071687867338752

These are the Meta tags the plugin is outputting, do they look correct?

Ok, so I doubled checked and the card does appear now. No image though, do you have any idea what is causing that?

    (@jmlapam)

Yeah markup is fine and Twitter card is showing but the problem comes from you image which is not correct for cards >> at least 280*150px; See documentation

Ah, OK. I can just add a new thumbnail size and regenerate thumbnails for all my posts. That is odd though, since the images worked before.

Thank you for all your help and work on this plugin!
