Arras Theme and Categories Icon Widget

I’m using the Arras Theme for my website and I’ve loaded the Categories_Icon widget in the attemp to identify default icons for my categories. The widget loaded fine and I’ve associated the appropriate icons for each category. The problem is that the Arras Theme doesn’t recognize it. The Categories_Icon widget gives me instructions on added certain code the the ‘theme tags’ but when I do nothing happens.

I’m wondering if anyone has been able to get the Category_Icons widget to work properly with the Arras Theme? If yes, how? What theme tag code did you alter?
