Argh! My widgets won't show in Weaver2010 (4 posts)

I don't understand why this is, but there is no "done" or "save" button on my widgets page, and my "primary" and "secondary" widgets do not show up - - while my footer widgets do. Why is this? How do I fix it? Does anyone have a similar problem?

    Thanks!

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    - re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    - increasing the memory available to PHP?

Yes, the 2010 theme is the one that causes problems - the old version by wordpress, Weaver 1.1, shows the widgets (but is not what we want to use).

I don't know how to re-upload anything and am nervous I'll lose all my settings. (The most frustrating kind of forum visitor).

This is so weird - none of the other people who are using 2010 have mentioned this problem, and I don't have anything elaborate on my website that would cause the widgets not to show up. Could it be a problem with my static page?

Unlikely. from what I recall, the theme was recently updated, so you might want to try contacting the theme developer.
