I want to hire a WordPress and Buddypress expert to build a social community prototype website. I've listed the features I need but will go into greater detail offline.
- Give potentially thousands of people the ability to sign up for the site and create a profile.
- The profile would include their name, their job, their industry and an avatar
- Allow people to upload videos and photos onto their own profile page.
- Allow other people to "rate" the uploaded content and write comments (like Amazon.com)
- Present highest rated content on home page and other parts of site
- Allow members to create and join groups
- Allow members to create and join discussions
- Allow members to create and join topics
- Implement a "point system" so that each time a member added/uploaded new content they’d earn one point.
- Search for and connect with "friends" on the platform
