I came across this site which lists 10 steps to moving a WP site from one place to a new server with a new domain. It mentions some steps that are not mentioned in the Codex (http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress#Moving_WordPress_to_a_New_Server).
I'm wondering if there are different methods to moving a WP site and what might be the easiest or safest method to use.
