At the time, that was primarily for quotes and backslashes, but WordPress may have made a change in 3.6, so that will need more testing. I don’t think forward slashes should be affected, though.

When are you noticing the sidebars disappearing? Are you using quick edit, bulk edit, the edit page screen, or the edit sidebar screen? Or does it just seem to be random?

Reports have not specified, unfortunately, but it’s unlikely to involve quick or bulk edits.

I’m probably being dense here, but I cannot find the edit sidebar screen. Where would I find that?

If you click a Sidebar’s name in the column on the screen with the list of pages, you can access the Edit Sidebar screen, which allows you to update the pages it applies to or even rename it.

The only thing I can think of at the moment is that the quick edit bug reported here is still lingering.

Thanks for the quick responses Brady.

I’m going to investigate this further, and I’ll let you know if I find anything awry.

Just to be clear, aside from this (potential) issue, this is an excellent plugin.

No problem. I’ve already worked out a fix if you’re experiencing any quick edit issues and pushed it to GitHub.

Let me know if you run across anything else. Glad to hear you like the plugin otherwise!
