Are Priorities in XML Sitemap read by W3 Total Cache?

Great Plugin and I like the xml sitemap better than the one recommended by W3 Total Cache.

I would like to know if Priorities in the XML Sitemap read by W3 Total Cache? I don’t want my W3 Total Cache to prime my pages sequencially but rather based on Priorities in the XML Sitemap.
