   I am using WP 2.8.4. Can someone tell me if using an auto-backup plugin increases the risk of being hacked?

   If they are safe to use, which is the best auto-backup to use for 2.8.4?

   They seem to be secure...and Gamerz and Austin have written a lot of code for WordPress/WordPress plugins...

   If you don't want to trust plugins, check with your host about how they backup your 'stuff'.

   wildbug: It is secured as long as you follow the instructions and protect the backup folder properly
