• Hi I have a post which i now realise I have been using inappropriately by just adding more and more information which has led to slow page load times and other issues. I now wish to rectify it and just wanted to check how to go about it.

I assume that I now make a new post for every new news items and then post it to the news category but I would like to archive old news items at the bottom of this page.

Do I cut and paste every date excerpt on this one post and make a new post and change the publish date for it?

    That would do it..

Yes, that’s what you have to do.
Just give each news piece a title, copy and paste the content and then use the date of the news piece as the published date.

Your blog will then display the latest posts at the top and pagination will be added at the bottom of your page.
