Archives only showing some of the archives

    I haven’t seen this particular problem posted, but I just noticed that if you click on the link for the archives for the month, it will show a page of archives (maybe 5 or 6 posts) and then at the bottom it has “previous”.

    If you click on “previous” it takes you to 5 or 6 previous posts, but then there is no link to any more previous posts – it just shows “next entries” and will take you back to where you just came from.

    Can anybody advise me on how to fix this? I’m not using permalinks and I have the latest version of WP. You can see it at http://www.idiotonastick.com/talk.

    I had this issue too, but I changed the number of posts per page and it went away. I think it may be a bug in 2.0.1 but after I got mine working again I never bothered to report it (sorry!).

    I’m showing 5 days for my regular posts, which is what I want to show.

    Is there somewhere to change how many posts are showing for the archives?

    No, I mean you need to change the number for them all. That 5 posts-per-page applies to everything. Change it to someting else, see if it works, and then change it back to five. That’s what “reset” everything for me.

    Thanks for your feedback. I changed it to 5 posts rather than 5 days and now the posts show up in the archives, but I changed it back and again they didn’t show if I switched it to days, rather than posts.

    Is there no way to have that set so that the archives show up properly, i.e., the 5 days worth of archive posts with a “previous entries” showing for the month?
