   I know this is a super simple problem but I'm suffering PHP fatigue and I'm on a tight deadline.

   I need to list the post archives on a custom homepage template within its sidebar and I can't for the life of me remember how to do it.

   It needs to read like this;

   July 2011
   Recent Post
   Less Recent Post

   June 2011
   An Oldish Post
   Even Older Post

   May 2011
   Ancient Post

   You get the idea.

   Any ideas?
