   I recently upgraded to 3.4.2 and activated a child of the Twentyten theme.

   Now, my Archives and Links pages are empty - no content

   Example

   The Links page shows the content when previewing some themes - not in others.

   The Archives page does not show content in any of the other themes I have previewed.

   You don't appear to have published any posts on that site.

   The blog itself has plenty of posts.

   The "Example" link goes to the "Archives" page, which has no content.

   Did you create new Links & archives pages for your child theme?

   Esmi,

   I did not create new pages for the child theme. I thought the existing pages would display, no matter what theme was used.

   I'm a novice at this.
