Archives and Categories Titles Only

Hi,

Need some help. Right now, when ever someone clicks the Archives (at the footer) or the Categories (called Sales Articles), they are linked to a page that displays all the post (post title, post content).

I want to do this: when they click on any archives/categories – they go to a page and they only see the Topics/Post Titles and not the entire post/page.

Like: they click archives May 2009, goes to page and they see.

Topic A: post date.
Topic B: post date.
Etc… and same goes for the Categories.

Right now it’s

Topic A: post date
ENTIRE POST CONTENT.

Topic B: post date
ENTIRE POST CONTENT.

I think the page is too long, i want my readers to choose the topics that interest them.

How do i do that? Or is there a widget i can download to do that?
