[resolved] Archive Won't List in 'Recycled Canvas' Theme (8 posts)

    Hi There,

I'm using the theme 'Recycled Canvas' over at my website. Everything seems to be working fine, however, if you go to view anything in the archives such as clicking on September 2007 on the sidebar, nothing appears besides the header. No entries are listed. This is the same way for all archives (tags, categories, etc). I'm not sure if its due to the upgrade of 2.3 (i hadn't checked them before i upgraded) or what but i was wondering if anyone knew of a solution?

I'm pretty sure it has to deal with the template since the archives list fine when i'm using the WordPress Default theme.

    Any ideas? :)

Perhaps the Theme Author hasn't updated their theme to work on 2.3? Maybe try sending the Theme Author an email about this? Good luck!

I don't think they have but i was wondering if anyone knew a simple fix for at least now until the authors get around to a real fix or solution.

The second link I posted above should help you. I hope anyway... It's hard to just simple quick fix things like that, as most of us don't have that theme on our computers to work with...

I gotcha but i used the second link already when i put tags into this theme. I don't think the tags are what are causing the problem though because the archives won't even work on a Monthly view. They just display nothing.

I understand what your saying about not being able to theme files but i could post you guys a copy of my archive.php if that would help?

Yeah, please paste your Archive.php file here, then post the url back here for us please. Choose PHP for code type of course.. =)

    Got it fixed.

I copied some of the code from one of my other working pages and pasted it in there. I had to mess around with it a bit but its 100% now. Thanks anyways!
