• I have a website (www.onTVonlineReviews.com) where I post new articles about television (e.g., reviews) every day.

I have no problems posting new content every day.

But, each day, the content I’m replacing vanishes. I’d like to create an archive page, so that I can put all past articles in one spot.

Is there a way to do this?

  • Hi

This is already built into WordPress. The theme you are using just does not emphasize this capacity. You already have a News archive page
    http://www.ontvonlinereviews.com/blog/category/news/

It is displaying only one post at a time, with a link at the bottom for next post and prev post. It can be set up to display more than one review per page, and to display only an excerpt from each review, so many reviews can be presented on one page – click a “read more” link to see the full review on its own page.

If you add a sidebar column, you could also have a list of recent reviews.

The archive system works similarly, except the reviews are arrange by year and month they were first published. This can also be added to your site – the capacity is already built in, your theme is just not using it.

What if you only have the front page displaying one post but want all posts displayed in the archive page? How do you set that up?
