    I am using v2.6.5: http://www.gateworld.net/news/index.php

    When I click “Previous Posts” and navigate to /page/2/ (or any other page number), I get the same 20 headlines as Page 1. In other words, only the 20 newest headlines are showing, and it’s not possible to navigate to older posts (unless you dive into a Category or Tag).

    Everything on subsequent pages works fine if you browse pages of headlines for Categories or Tags.

    Everything use to work fine — I’m not sure when it broke, but it could have been when I moved WP to a different directory. I don’t know if that would have had any impact on this.

  • Complete URL’s to WP posts/pages are embedded in many places in the WP database. When you move WP to a different folder the database needs to be updated with the new location – not just in the location of the WP files and the site URL, etc.

    The necessary changes can’t be made within the WP admin area.
    Here is a page about moving a site. Although it talks about moving it to another domain, the same principles apply when moving it to a different folder on the same domain:
