Archive Page Sorted by Year and Month

    Hello,
    I’ve been searching the WordPress support site and Google but have not been able to find anything related to exactly what I want to do. I’m afraid I don’t yet know enough about WordPress to accomplish this on my own.

    I have an archive page on my site and it’s been using the srg_clean_archives plugin. That plugin works fine but it doesn’t display the archives exactly as I would like them to. I’ve also tried several other archive plugins but none of them seem to support the way I want to display them (at least not that I know of).

    The following list is a demo of how I would like them displayed on my archive page:

    Year

    • Month
    • Month

    Year

    • Month
    • Month

    So, is this way of displaying the archives possible? Is there a plugin that does it? If so, then which plugin is it and how does it need to be configured to accomplish this? If not, what will it take to accomplish this myself?

    Thank you for any help on this matter.

    It would be fairly easy to write a plugin to do it, since I am not aware of any existing ones out there.

    Maybe someone else will know of one, if not, maybe for my next plugin I will make this.. We will see 🙂

    Oh, that would be great! I might try to come up with some code for now but if you were to make a plugin like that I would definitely use it. Thank you! 🙂
