Archive Page – Simple?

    I just want to create a simple archive page. I am using this function from a plugin I have installed and activated:

    <?php srg_clean_archives(); ?>

    I can call it from sidebar and it works perfectly. But when I try to create a WordPress Page, I can’t get it to work at all.

    I just want an archive “Page” that lists a little more detail about my posts. Any code I enter through the TinyMCE disappears when i save it.

    I realize I am an idiot most likely, but not sure why.

    If you want to enter this code directly into a page, you’ll need a plugin wich allows you to run php from your posts, like phpexec. This plugin won’t work with the visual rich editor tough. Another option is to create a custom page template, which includes your code.
