I would check with your theme. Jetpack Comments replaces the comment_form()
that is used to collect comments, but the display of approved comments is still fully handled in the typical WordPress way via your theme.
Cheers!

Hi Brandon,
Thanks for your quick reply.
So you’re saying that the comment_form() function just displays the form. What function typically displays the actual comments?
wp_list_comments()
will output the actual comments. More about the function from the Codex at http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_list_comments
It may be more helpful to see the function in context. Here’s how the Twenty Fourteen default theme handles comments: https://themes.trac.wordpress.org/browser/twentyfourteen/1.1/comments.php
Cheers!

You can see the Jetpack Comments box. I’ve submitted comments both with my WordPress account and with my Google+ account. And both comments are approved in the /wp-admin/edit-comments.php page.
See screenshot:

Yet no comments ever appear on the posts.
Any ideas?
