    How about some way to apply a style as you are writing a post. For instance I’d like to be able to apply the alignleft, or alignright styles to images as I write a post without having to go into the html to apply the style.

    That’s a function of the HTML WYSIWYG editor you’re using. TinyMCE doesn’t allow that.

    If you find a decent implementation of a decent WYSIWYG, you’ll be able to do that. I think FCK allows it. XStandards as well. Haven’t found implementation of either in WP 🙁
