Apostrophe's in comments and 1.2 (7 posts)

    I upgraded to WordPress 1.2, and noticed that apostrophe's in comments are shown as escaped in the result, using comment_text().
    Is there another function I should use instead? I've modified this file so didn't copy it over.

    add_filter('comment_text', 'stripslashes');

    wp-comments is where i put the following.
    <?php add_filter('comment_text', 'stripslashes'); ?>

    Anyway, thanks, Charle97, I'll do that. For some reason, I thought the add_filter functions could only be used in plugins.

    i think matt was doing something to the db and killed a few of the more recent posts.

    when i put that code in place of comment_text my comments disappeared completely... where in wp-comments should i put it ? (sorry am stupid)
