• This is pretty weird. When I make a new post, any apostrophes in the title are replaced with a question mark (?). Any apostrophes in the entry itself, is replaced with a weird apostrophe. You can see an example at http://stupid.nu/index.php.
Also, this is probably in the documentation somewhere, but how do you make the “Read More…” link show up? while only displaying the preview of the entry?
Thank you so much in advance.

  • Set the character encoding of the blog in the options menu, to the right value.
Read More is used by putting <!–more–> (there’s a quicktag for this in the write/edit interface) in the body of the post.

Hmm, well I’m using WordPress 0.71, and didn’t see anything in the Options section other than how many posts to display, archiving and time functions. I did change my current text encoding from utf-8 to iso-8859-1. While this fixes the problem of the question marks, it now displays the apostrophes as backticks (`). What else could be causing this?
