    I've tried the sugguestions found http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-ajax-event-calendar-ajax-event-calendar-dont-like-the-apostrophes?replies=11#post-2259386 without luck. I read through the forum links and I’ve tried every suggestion and even going in and turning off the magic quotes in the php.ini for the main directory! I’ve added a php.ini file to the sub directory for the specific theme I tested, sub directory where WordPress was installed for a site within the main directory, added the lines to remove in the htcaccess.ini files, added in the block of codes to remove at runtime, etc. Our hosting service is GoDaddy and was wondering if anyone haas GoDaddy hosting that uses WordPress and has luck resolving this issue? Thank you!

    @tramsckls,

    Our client has very robust hosting - we/they tried all the same remedies as you've listed - no luck here either. The client using this is resigned to
    a) Avoiding the use of apostrophes altogether OR
    b) Inserting ' where he wants an apostrophe to appear. Duh.

    Neither is a worthy option considering that WP has evolved into a really slick, modern and versatile CMS - and this is (otherwise) easily the best Calendar plugin.

    (All we have to do until Eran irons out this small issue is get rid of that damn warning notice that uses up valuable space on the dashboard.)

    Jeez, try again to hopefully display the escape code enclosed in backticks :

    b) Inserting ' where he wants an apostrophe to appear. Duh.

    Try one last time to fool this archaic msg board by putting spaces between characters FCS:
    b) Inserting & # 39 ; where he wants an apostrophe to appear. Duh.
