I am currently working on some issues where the API is not always responding to the client server in the correct compressed format.

During the testing I have caused some bad responses to be sent out, which will be causing some of your installs to show “Sorry, no Tweets found.” due to a bad response being stuck in your Tweet Data cache.

I am working hard to fix the API so that is always sends the correct compression type to all users and then I will update the plugin to resolve the issue where bad responses get the plugin stuck in a position where it cannot update anymore.

I will post back here when I have more news. I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused by this work.

I just got the “Sorry, no Tweets found” problem due to the above API update myself. I had to re-install the plugin to return functionality to normal.

I am very sorry for anyone who has to take these actions to repair the plugin. I work hard to ensure that my work has as little impact on users as possible. Unfortunately the issue I am currently tackling is incredibly difficult to test, as I cannot fully reproduce the wildly varied servers users websites are hosted on.

I will do my best to get this resolved quickly so that everyone is getting data in a format their server supports.
