    I’m trying to locate my API Key… but I can’t! Am I able to get one if I am hosting my blog on my own server? Or do I have to host w/ WP?

    I just want to get rid of this SPAM!!! = (

    1) Go to wordpress.com and register for a username – then you’ll get the API for Akismet

    2) Install the Bad Behavior plugin, also as it kills trackback spam

    should i already have one if I have a WP blog on my own server? I mean, if I register a new user name… does that mean I have to create a new blog under that user name or can I take the API Key and use it with my existing blog?
