API key not working

    I can’t fully activate Akismet because I don’t seem to have an API key. When I look at my profile, there is no API key. When I go to the Akismet configuration page where one enters their API key, I get a message saying:

    “Your key appears invalid. Double-check it.”

    But I don’t know how to double-check it.

    Any help appreciated.
