Hi, I want to install Akismet and WordPress Stats plugins, but these require API key. I use self-hosted WordPress account (WordPress.org). Where can I find my API key?

I believe you just need to register an account at wordpress.com to get one.

OK, so, I am a totally confirmed techno-idiot... I can live with that. BUT, it is not helping me figure out just where to find my API key. Where do I go once logged into my WP account to find it?

When you sign up for a WordPress.com account we will email you an API key. If you already have a WordPress.com account, your API key is listed on your profile page, which you can get to by clicking the “My Account” link in the top left when you’re logged in.
