I am trying to get the API key and the API URL to add my blog (BLOG B) http://www.creationvideo.co.uk/blog/ to youtube.
I look in my Profile where the API should be but it's not there. This blog is hosted on my own server.
I have read many posts and followed links, but all the advice seems to be for blogs that are hosted on the wordpress server.
Before I set up my self-hosted blog, I set up this blog (BLOG A): http://creationvideo.wordpress.com/
but immediately abandoned it to use my self-hosted blog (BLOG B).
Blog A does have an API key, Blog B - the one I actually use - does not. Can anyone assist please?
wordpress APIs only come from WordPress.com I believe....

Thanks - how would I contact them? The support on my blog only sends me here....

is a wordpress.com blog...you have an API through them. I dunno if that works or not, for other plugins on selfhosted blogs that require a wordpress API, we use one from a wordpress.com account we set up
If you need wordpress.com support... http://en.forums.wordpress.com/

Thanks for your response. I hope I'm not alone in finding this v confusing! I'll try using the API from the old blog that is hosted by wordpress, see if it connects to my self-hosted blog...
It should be fine if you register your new self hosted blog in your profile at wordpress.com....dunno if you gotta set it to your primary too or not.....
