I have gone over your site and these forums several times and I have clicked the link you posted on the website only to be redirected to the same page each time. I don't know if Facebook has removed that access or not but I'm not getting third value for the settings. Is the beta plugin the only option at this point?

[resolved] As of around 15:00 GMT Facebook did away with all the old ways of using the current SFC version if you haven't already installed it.

THE FIX IS TO USE THE DEV VERSION!

Thanks it seems to be working somewhat now. I see that it automatically sends the password. I have tried to register a few times now and gotten no password via email. Any ideas?

The password is sent via the normal WordPress code, so if that's not working on your server, then you won't get the email from this either.

Ok I can't for the life of me find out how to set this up. I have never had to set email this way before so I tried a plugin work around to send it using SMTP. This isn't working either. Any suggestions?

Ok I found the php.ini and checked the send path, that was correct and as I can see it, my host does not disable php mail (Hostgator)

I got the php mail to work and I can send and receive test emails using WP Mail SMTP using both the php function and the SMTP function but when I try to register through the Facebook form, I get nothing. No email and it never registers anything.

And please if there can be a refresh for the captcha? I just had one that looked like arabic so there was no way for me to figure that one out.

Disable the register module and create a user normally. Do you get the email then?

Did the user even get created? Does the publish plugin work? I can't debug in a vacuum, I need information on what is different about your site.

Also, there's nothing I can do about the captcha. That whole box and its behavior come from Facebook, not from the plugin.

Using the default registration, I do get a new user created and an email.

It's possible that your PHP doesn't have the OpenSSL support installed, in which case there's nothing I can do. Facebook now *requires* HTTPS on the requests to the Graph API, so if your server can't do SSL, then it just won't work.

You can check by making a phpinfo file (Google for phpinfo for info on how to do this) and then looking in the resulting table for "OpenSSL".

How to enable OpenSSL depends on your hosting service though.

According to the phpinfo file, OpenSSL is enable. Anything else I should check? You can view the site at http://www.llcorpinc.com and the phpinfo link is http://llcorporationinc.com/phpinfo.php if that helps any.

You appear to have it turned off, so I can't test it myself. Also, the login looks somewhat customized. I can't guarantee operation with strange custom code.

The login is customized but I'm only working on that because I hate the regular login page and I am only using it for your plugin. I have enabled SFC, disables the customization, and allowed registration for you to test if you like.

One moment, the custom login plugin screwed up the page for some reason. I will fix it and post back.

I have disabled everything and the default wordpress pages comes up fine. As soon as I activate SFC, the login page only populated part of the Facebook window. I have not edited anything in the SFC files.

You still have a ton of custom javascript and CSS on the login page. One or more of your other plugins is interfering with it.

Since you have your site so heavily customized, I recommend that you not use SFC, and switch to writing the Facebook connectivity you want in a custom manner instead. A generic plugin that is designed for a generic site simply isn't going to work with heavily customized code. You'd be better off with a more specific solution for your needs.

I don't have anything customized on the login page anymore. What I had was removed and when I disabled everything, the login page was fine. It only changed when I activated SFC. I don't even use the login page so there is no reason for me to customize it. I wouldn't use it even still if your plugin didn't require it to be used. If you are seeing such things in the code can you at least point them out and I will hunt for it? I have not customized anything on the login page currently.

Ok, I scoured the code and found a plugin that my old developer put in and it should show up fine now. Before I was getting an entire window. Now there is just the login button. Is that correct?
