I just had my web host install opcode APC and phpinfo says that it is indeed installed and enabled. When I try to change database and minify to use APC it is still greyed out. I've pasted my APC configuration below.

This is not enough information to debug, please submit a bug submission via the support tab of the plugin.

Do you have any idea what the problem might be?

All I can guess is that APC and PHP are not compatible versions. Are you able to open the apc.php page in your browser to see if there are any errors or if things are working properly?

Apparently my host didn't set the php configuration to be recursive for my account which they finally fixed and APC is working now.

    Quick question:

When using Disk for database caching it was routinely caching something like 87/93 queries cached.

Now, with APC enabled I'm getting something like 25/93. Is this inherent to APC caching or is it a configuration problem?

    Thanks

Ugh, this is really irritating. W3 Total Cache recognizes APC and so does my phpbb instllation but the apc.php file shows only the apc.php being cached.

This is not a W3TC issue, ask your host what's wrong with their install.
