Im wondering if there is a way for users to subscribe to rss for specific keywords. Either by running a search parameter in the rss feed url like ?=keyword or any plugins that are able to do this?

Pretty much I would like for users to subscribe and get alerts when a keyword shows up in one of my post types, im guessing rss would be the best way to accomplish this?

    Any thoughts?

To answer my own question, yes it is possible with custom parameters in the rss url like so: http://my-domain.com/?feed=rss&s=keyword or with multiple instances http://my-domain.com/?feed=rss&s=key%20words

So now I just need to create the sign up to subscribe form and have a text box for the user to fill out with their specified keyword then when there is a post with their keyword they will be alerted..
