I want to make some custom menu items with non-qualified links like:

    ../about us/
    ../contact/

    etc...

Now if I do this I get the following:

    http://../aboutus/
    http://../contact/

Yes you can change it from there... Just Go to your
    > WP Dashboard
    > Settings
    > Permalink
    > Custom Structure

and then from the custom structure field remove the "/" at the end...

Save it and then you'll get the prob solved! :)
