anyone know a slider ... (5 posts)

    That let's me put the caption UNDER the slide. All the sliders I can find only let me put the caption over the slider or not at all.

    The reason is that i'm displaying portraits and I need the info somewhere there: 30x60cm Canvas etc.

    The only other option I've come up with is to have two sliders; one for the pictures and one for the captions.

    OR to create slides that include the caption at the bottom. The problem with both these is that it makes it difficult for my friend (who I'm making it for) to upload new pictures himself.

    any advice greatly appreciated.

    You can position the captions with CSS, you probably want to look at adding bottom: -30px; or-so.

    Actually I don't see a way to do this for images with different heights, as normally sliders use the same height for all images.

    I've made a secondary slider with the caption but it's not changing at the same time

    and there's a border around it that I can't get off. Sigh.
