I know it's pretty unlikely but is it possible for WP to be hacked for email addresses?
I've been plagued with what is called 'back scatter' and am wondering if it could be because of my security being broken? My hosting co is really excellent and so far they've found no evidence of a breach of security.

If someone has gained access yo your database, then they can get hold of email addresses stored in there. This can happen with any site - not just a WordPress one.

Hi Esme,
It's highly unlikely that the DB was hacked, my hosting co won't even let me install RSS feeds unless I supply them with the URLs, they're really good at protecting sites.
