Any way to use a SINGLE cache file for all users? (2 posts)

    Hiya guys,

I like the idea of caching, but I'd like it even more if every user would read the same cached files and thus always benefit from the speed increases.

It seems the only reason this *isn't* the case by default is because logged-in users get a pre-filled comment form. But what if this doesn't matter? What if I was happy for all users to see a standard log-in frm, seeing as I don't allow registrations?

If anyone knows of a code edit or something I could do to achieve this that'd be great. All I basically want is for every user to generate and see super-cached files (my comment form theme makes no distinction between whether someone is logged in or not).

But your comment form probably populates itself with data from the cookie dropped when someone left a comment previously?

It's possible to do what you want, but it isn't worth it when the number of duplicated files is tiny anyway. (99% of your visitors will see the super cached pages..)
