   This is a great plugin, thanks for writing it!

   The only thing that I can think of that would make this better is that All Images shows the count for the entire library and this might confuse some people.

   Is there any way to make the count reflect only the count of their images?

   Thanks for the good words.
   About your problem - that's strange. Plugin code has this feature already and recounts quant of media library items for current user if he has not 'edit_others_posts' capability, that is user who is not Administrator or Editor. Look at plugin in action on my test site:

   May be you have additional details which could clarify the reason?

   I call the media library from within a plugin that I am developing. When they go to the media library it only shows the images they are the author of but it shows the count for all the images.

   Thanks for this plugin, it is great!

   In my installation (WP 3.4.2) it also displays at the top the number of the total amount of media.

   It would good if we find a way to display the correct number or not display a number at all.
