Any way to make links searchable? (5 posts)

I created a site that's basically a collection of links, broken down by categories. I basically created a number of categories in my blogroll, with tons of links for each. Rather than have one huuuuge list of links in the sidebar, I instead, broke off the categories into individual pages, and removed the blogroll from the sidebar. So I have a site that has just pages of links (plus a little intro text on each page).

Since the bulk of my site's content is links, I'd really love to make use of the Search functionality. But I can't seem to find anything that'd help me modify it so the WP search (or any plugin for that matter) will search EVERYTHING on my site, including posts, pages and links. Is it even possible?

    Thanks,
    Andrew

Yeah, this is a huge limitation for using Blogroll to manage links/resources. Even the Search Everything plugin doesn't find content stored in blogroll links or descriptions.

Definitely something to add for next release, imo.

I agree, I have been looking for a feature like this since I started using WordPress.

I think I posted this in many posts, I got the code to search for links, comments and posts. The problem is that is is based on 1.5.2. If you all would like to mod it to WP 2.x, drop me an email and I will mail the code to you. gamerz84 AT hotmail DOT com
