    This page

    and this page

I can't get to validate due to the code placed by my reverbnation music player widget and the paypal button.

It's code generated by the original sites. I've done some googling and tried altering the code but don't know enough to get it working on Firefox and IE and validating. Is it possible? Thanks!

You have 56 errors in one page and 23 errors in another and you're asking if it can be validated?

Yes of course it's possible but do you know HTML? Without knowing HTML, it would be very hard for you to understand why it is not validating.

I'm trying to fivure out how to replace the code. As I said the music widget and paypal button code were generated by the respective sites, not by me.

The music widget uses "embed". I tried replacing it with "object" and such but it requires a parameter for my user ID and I couldn't find anywhere to put it that would validate. I know a good amount of HTML, but not enough to replace the flash code for the widget.

well...a lot of your errors cascade.... you have some other things that are throwing stuff off. If you could get rid of those problems, you could see whats really going on.

like on line 107 in the validator view of your source...you have an open <p> that doean't close

There looks like other mismatches happening....

I had a couple plugins that wouldn't play nice...dropping strange <p> tags, and other things that wouldn't validate.

Here a cool solution I use that totally validates my site:
    http://www.mattvarone.com/wordpress/output-clean-valid-xhtml/

Just download the Clean The Content Function file.

It has two things in it, one is a bit of code to go into functions.php, and the other is a file you just place in your theme. Check into it a bit....it helps me a lot!
