• Hello,
I am wondering if there is any way to direct posts to 2 different pages?
I realize categories and tags do this (in a sense) but I want to have posts on two different pages (a “news” page and “litigation log” page).
    Help!

  • File the post(s) under both categories – news and litigation?

Hmmm.. I see that I didn’t word that very well. Sorry!
I want my posts to be directed to separate pages (not just category pages but static pages I have created).
I hope I am explaining that right.

I have at least 100 litigation cases I want to enter as posts (currently all my post are posted to the static “Litigation Log” page).

I also have a ton of press releases, news articles, etc. that I would also like to enter as posts. I don’t want them to be on the main post page (which, again, is the litigation log). I want them to be on their own separate post page (on the static News page).

SO- I’m either looking for a plugin that will allow me to redirect posts to particular static pages, or a plugin that will allow for 2 completely separate posting in the same wordpress blog.

Or… maybe there is a much easier way to do this then I am thinking of! Nested pages?

I don’t know of any plugin that could do this but it could be achieved using a custom query on your main posts page (to limit the displayed posts to just the Litigation ones) and a second custom page template & query for the News page to exclude the Litigation posts.
