Any way to bring back pre 3.5 method to, via MediaUI, rename/tag/caption photos?

I recently upgraded from from 3.4.2 to 3.5.1 it seems like a basic function of uploading a photo has been taken away. When you upload a photo or photos, there used to be a ‘show’ option that allowed you to rename the photos all at once as well as enter caption and tag information. I know that there was a pretty big overhaul of the media UI in WordPress 3.5 but this seems like a pretty key component of the old UI and I’m surprised that it was taken out.

With the update that isn’t available, so the only way to change photo names/information is to edit each one individually by clicking ‘edit’ then saving each photo. It adds a substantial amount of time on to bulk uploads of photos for things like slideshows or photo heavy posts.

Does anybody know of any plugins or other ways to restore the older functionality?
