[resolved] Any way to add annotations to inserted images in posts? (6 posts)

I have added a biography to my WordPress site with each chapter as a paginated post. That went well, but I would like to illustrate the posts with the pictures containing text annotations below them. In a perfect world, this would have a border or frame around the picture and text, much like you would find on a page of a book. Any suggestions on how to proceed? I have not found this feature on any of the image plugins I have tried, nor do I want to use an external feed like Flicker to solve this. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

The only thing I can think of is to make the picture with a border around it and the words actually in the picture than insert the picture and wordwrap the post around it?

That is my backup plan, but since there are a substantial number of pictures, I was hoping for a less labor intensive method. Thanks for the suggestion!
