I have been crawling around the support documentation and forums and I really, really want the eshop to work fo my clients. I have even started to write a gateway for Google Checkout, but noticed that there is no inventory control.

Any inventory control in the future? Example of Basic Inventory Control: A tees shirt design is available in five sizes S,M,L,XL,XXL and each size has a different quantity in stock, S:18, M:25, L:45, XL:35, XXL:24. A customer buys one small, one large, so a quantity of one is deducted from each of the design’s small and large sizes. That is basic inventory control, as opposed to: in stock, out of stock.

My clients can’t take orders for products they use to have in stock, but at sometime in the night they ran out, and customers kept ordering. Client get disappointed because they have to disappoint a hard won customer who made a purchase from their brand. No inventory control is a bust.

I realize there is some altruistic motivation behind your efforts for compiling and writing this plugin; I couldn’t do it with my current skill set. I wish I could offer more than this critic.
