Any ideas – Charity / Pay Per Votes photo contest

In order to raise money, our animal rescue would like to create a Photo Contest (easy enough) – however, they’d like to collect $1 for every vote. So if someone wanted to cast 5 votes, they’d submit a donation for $5. Any ideas on how to implement something like this?
