   Hi,
   I'm looking for a calender / events plugin which I could add to a page.. similar to contact form 7.. drop the code in and have a big functional plugin.

   Does anything currently exist?

   I have built a plugin myself for this purpose see it in action at http://teamkennet.com, http://teamkennet.com/track-field/track-field-events/. I have not yet released it to the public however if you are interested I will package it up and send it to you.
   It has fairly limited functionality due to how I wanted the plugin to work.

   Oh and it works like contact form 7. You can code it then just add shortcodes to add the calendar to any page.
